Model X

From Tesla Motors Wiki

Model X is Tesla Motors follow on car to the Model S. Built on the same platform, it is an XUV or crossover utility vehicle.

Tesla has been remarkably tight lipped about Model X, despite first showing the car in February 2012:

Seating 7 people, Model X has all-wheel-drive provided by twin electric motors, and a unique falcon wing door arrangement.

Performance is to be 'similar to Model S' in terms of acceleration, range and top speed. This is an interesting challenge as the car is larger, yet will have the same 60 and 85 kWh capacity batteries.

Model X will boast the same 17" touchscreen display as Model S and the software-defined control architecture.
